it's been pretty interesting this week (:

wednesday, guitar's first syf. i really dont know what to feel, like happy or sad?
we did put in effort, but it just isnt very much. rehearsals were okay, but smtimes i really wonder if we take it seriously, or maybe it's just another issue of self discipline.
anyway that day on the stage, i think we played okay, but our practices before that was way better.
i dont know if we disappointed mr ong and mr hung. they put in alot of effort, time, thinking, planning and dedication. although mr ong said we stole his heart that day LOL he's funny. hmmm but overall, i think the experience is cool. :D

thursday, coaching fit4life girls captains ball with livia. there's like lack of people, but in the end managed to pull the basketball group to join in the game. omg i miss netball so badly D: my junior says planning to recruit around 6 more members for a' div. it's so tempting to join back and start from scratch. but i would have too many commitments and i dont think i have that mentality to endure.
i dont know if i regreted not giving a definite reply when mp asked me if i wanted to join back last year. i dont know which is a right choice.

friday, sports day carnival. i like the games, i mean there's like frisbee badminton water soccer and human table soccer. water soccer's really fun. reallyreallyreally fun. it's a pity that it lasted for only 5 or 8 min only.
but then, this sports carnival is so not interactive. there's nothing much to do. you can wander around like lost souls. there's no cheering atmosphere. there isnt a "sportsy" feeling like we used to have on sports day. there's an air of sianess.
i wonder what happened to the organisation. im getting annoyed. is rv getting so big that it cant be controlled. is the school capable of handling of big school events? where's the old rv spirit.

then we went to film the econs oscars which was a total joke. now that i look back at the videos i found out that our acting skills is cui hahahaha. and meilin's house is so prettyyy and she got the most stuff ever on earth.

saturday. flag day, we went tb market. it's pretty heartwarming to see ppl that you never expect to donate, to stop and find coins to donate. like got this indian riding a bicycle, i mean ppl wont usually stop just to donate, but this guy he stopped and found like all his coins and dropped them into the tin. i was really amazed. and while we were on our way back to tb plaza there's this little boy who (got daoed by xuanyi and regina LOL) asked his daddy to wait for him while he took a coin out to donate. and oh there's this lady who look like the retired bio teacher (i forgot her name) donated too omg i wanted to ask her whether she was a teacher not.

and of course today is REGINA'S 17th BIRTHDAY! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
i wish you a fun and fufilling day and of course to enjoy your youthhhh ^^

awesome thing: really feeling the ache in the abs! ☺





ohmygosh i think this week really super fast! many cool and bad things happened, it's just life haha. so wednesday was learning trip to bmtc and it was good! a long ride on the bus and a short ride on the ferry (wish it was longer!) made this whole trip like some kind of excursion haha :D and i taught it was gonna be boring but it was alright cause there were FOOD, and a little of entertainment (shooting) coupled with some knowledge on NS. LOL the people made it as if like very cool i mean woah, branded sports shoes, shaver, swiss army knife and all kinds of stuff.

i wonder if females join what will be different! it's kinda cool right like, men go NS ppl just orh; women go NS people just stare at you HAHA i was staring at this lady in army suit who came out from the ferry terminal (whats the place called) ohmygod so cool :D


then anyway in the never take the bedok bus aiyohh it's just a sad incident. oh then today (omg feeling so good no tuition today!) went gym with meilin, eva pangseh last min D:< haha it was pretty joke seriously, cause it's all guys inside and it was kinda funny at first but at least the fitness instructor was uber nice and there was jokers from our class in the gym too.

eh so we went in and we did abs exercise i swear the instructor has perfect abs luh. then we went to cycle (ohholy didnt know cycling so tough D: ) and then used the machines. o.0 got some really cool new machines that i didnt really know how to use but in the end joel got say how to use haha some really very fun ^^

oh then eva came TSKTSK only xuanyi can convince her to come. aiyohh. then it brings back memories on how we used to go for gym sessions. but then the laupok chin up machine wasnt there alr i think we spoilt it last time bah. kinda sad ): that machine damn cool leh.

and there's this super cool weighing balance that can calculate your percentage/weight of bones, fats, muscles etc and water composition!

im kinda convinced we made the instructor's day SHE WAS SO HAPPY TO SEE FEMALES IN THE GYM and was like smiling at us all the time! somemore when we left she said: will be back? of course we said yes haha gym's so fun!
though can see meilin tired liao haha. but still! very fun mah ^^

and gp and econs are over! really sad for these tests i mean if think deeper maybe would have written better essays. but no use crying over splilt milk i just really hope to do slightly better than term 1.

anyway OMG WHY IS THERE A SYF PREVIEW?! and we guitar suay lah, have to perform in front of year 5s and year 6s. awesome. i've a bad feeling about this, man. i think we'll screw up though hope not! :X

and lol entre's cip is a bit de uhm, weird. i feel as if we are organising some kind of carnival instead of really helping others. and holy, because of this, this week's gonna be busy.

awesome thing: sleeping like a log the WHOLE day ☺

now i realised how much i actually know about Singapore. and my knowledge is super limited.

so anyway my 舅父，舅母，表哥，表嫂 came to Singapore, and they were asking me where are the places of interest. besides answering ussr, casino and sentosa, i've no idea where else to go! i was totally stunned.

so i was thinking i've lived in Singapore for 16 plus years, but i really never been to most of Singapore.

i've never been to ussr (for the rides etc.), never been to Singapore flyer, never been to lau ba sat (not in my memory, but maybe i did go before? D:), never been to alot of places! dont know about taxi extra fares nor the cost to take the mrt for a stop for an adult! neither do i know about the current population in Singapore. i think it was like 4 million a few years ago. and i didnt know where to get singapore souvenirs. or what souvenirs there are.

i sound like a Singapore noob.

anyway! i love the seniors, man! because of them we earned a free friday! ♥ i couldn't tell you how great the friday was, it was a total slacking day. it was sleeeeeeeeeeppp the whole day cause the weather is so awesome!

then thursday was a pretty short day. it was the only holy day that i dont need to stay back till late for any funny reasons! the morning we planned to have mac breakfast but it was quite a fail breakfast cause the queue was so long and it kinda dragged past the time we had planned. :X and after school i had a mr bean ice cream at tiong and xuanyi bought a pancake plus drink! ^^ except that day i missed the uni talk which i think the course is super expensive. money money money, how, no money no talk $.$

then i went to the hotel to find my relatives. i was waiting at the lobby and i saw like these candles and they were so pretty! and i wonder how come the flame is so steady o.o

wednesday was the b'div netball zonal finals! and i was so glad that we went cause it was such an EXCITING MATCH ♥.

but before that we heard news that MR CHUA is leaving. and that's the saddest thing that can ever happen to rv cause he's such a funny and nice guy. and in these two years so much has happened, with so many good teachers leaving and our vice principals leaving. it's like it isn't rv anymore. there doesnt seem to have anymore nice people in our school anymore. and school is becoming more like a misery to us. whyy??

anyway! so we caught the match and the atmosphere was super high we were like screaming our lungs out and cheering like banshees and we didnt care a thing for our reputation! our hearts were like pounding like siao and we were like jumping around at the end cause our juniors won by 1 goal! :D :D :D it was a draw at the end of the game but they had to extend it to see which school will emerge as the champion at the end.

it was quite funny with kristal keep on saying that our school SCs were cui enough not to lead any cheer and livia keep on saying that we need a cheer! and the supporters that came, ... doesnt seem to display much enthusiasm. sadness.

on the other hand nanhua supporters were an energetic lot they were like HU HA-ing every goal they score and it became pretty much an annoyance LOL. but at least they were high about it. (and we were like HA HA-ing at the end hahaha though of course we didnt do it loud)

and mr chua mrs yeow mr tan etc. teachers were there and they were wonderful supporters haha! ^^ mr chua and mrs yeow were especially enthu about it yay :D and we did have a photo with mr chua at the end (: we'll miss you mr chua! ♥

tuesday had guitar practice at the syf venue, and we were so nervous at first haha! hope we dont screw up on the day itself! and reached home at 11pm i can tell you i could have just died on the bed.

monday was a boring long day. so the whole of the week i was super tired i think i need to sleep at 10.30pm everyday already! and i hate lectures i dont know why i will fall asleep in at least one lecture. or zone out.

i better catch up in this week of study break.

okay this week isn't as bad as the previous haha sometimes i do enjoy what i do in school (: other than studying duhh.

nothing interesting this week, yep the same same but i really cant get math it's killing me! and mr beer is a very passionate teacher who loves maths like hell but thing is i'm so gonna disappoint him O: i'm really sorry i think i gotta pay more attention in lectures and in tutorials and keep my head in a clear CLEAR state not the usual fuzzy and cloudy mind :/ need to devote more time to math!

talking about time i think this is really all about time management and self discipline D: as long as we can achieve that (that's like mugger but anyway) i think i will be half as miserable as now.

anyway now i look at pyssla beads really makes me pissed lah i dont know why we are doing this but i will take it as i'm doing for the class and put in effort.

we are simply too nice to people.

i like this quote. i shouldnt moan about school everyday because it's not going to change anything. i'll look at the school at a different light. i should aim to eradicate "sianness" and have something to look forward to everyday.
to remain highly optimistic about things is one way to survive school life. and i shall learn to enjoy school (:

so well today had this journalism talk and it's kind of cool it makes me wonder what i really want to do when i enter the society to work. honestly i must say i dont have a flair for writing but the process of gathering information and processing it seems to be relatively challenging! which is such an experience.

lol i got a feeling that the presenter was kind of disappointed by our lack of enthusiasm and response but i reckon it's the rv culture and that the room's filled with guai kias and smart people. it's really quiet and people think in the politically correct way with not much sense of humour except for maybe meilin who's always thinking in the sick way but anyway, other than that the class horribly serious.

but the presenter was good and engaging i like the way he talks it's like impromptu kind but he could express his ideas so freely. and maybe he was a bicul student before his languages are good!

anyway today i said something really loud and kinda stupid in class but i really really really didnt mean it i'm really sorry if i insulted anybody D: i'm feeling guilty for the rest of the day. :X

i love fridays.

okay i got some nice smiley face snacks here heehee cause i'm happy! (and maybe hungry too) and optimistic. it's been a week, and what i've done in this week (4 days actally -.- ) seems to be so much, so much, so much.

maybe it's the post school reopening sydrome. you get tired/sleepy easily, loses concentration, and get STRESSED.

yes stress. it's unbelievable. maybe stress makes you forget about time. it feels like months of school already. first week of school, and we have teachers telling us the ugly truth. a' levels. the official exams are a holy one and a half years time later but we have this a' levels ringing in our head every few hours. we've got so much adrenaline pumping in our body because of it that there might be an overdose.

so well yeah i'll be chionging the massive load of homework and also pouring over my giantic stack of year 3/4 notes. and maybe a little revision on this week. hello hectic weekend.

awesome thing: rain after a hot day ☺

second day of school, felt like months of it. so turns out that 5B is going to turn out real all right, it's not exactly silent, it can be noisy, a small class means easier to bond and of course we have our bubbly girl meilin who's such a great entertainer!

not a mugger class hopefully. but our circumstances doesnt seem to allow the survival of non-muggers. our homework and to do list is practically as long as a snake (okay i dont know what to put here). so well today's pretty slack, though guitar's going at high speed and snails like me are as blur as sotongs. and i do admire mr ong's cheerfulness, though this's our first syf but he tells us to just play our hearts out there, and dont care a thing about the results.

i like that. cause i dont believe competitions exist for the sake of giving out results. i believe in experience. and if i do get to perform for syf, it's my greatest honour. a non musician like me with no musical talents is given an opportunity to perform with her lousy to the max skills.

so anyway. i got nothing else to say. except that i'm off to do my homework.

i need tuition seriously.

i'm trying to make going back school a fun thing haha.

so today i was taking the bus to the mrt station on my way to school, and i saw a flurry of activity at a particular bus stop. worried parents fussing over the crisp white uniform of their children, children seeming giggly while talking to their fellow peers or reserved ones standing at a corner. it then occured to me that they were secondary ones!

so four years ago i was once like that. getting prepared and ever so ready and excited about going to river valley. and i remember there was assembly on the first day of school and ms ek commented on our brand-new white colour of our uniforms. she said that they will soon turn into a yellowish white hue.

yet today i went to school with a heavy heart. it wasnt the fact that there is a new class. it was the academic burden that is already weighing on my shoulders. with all the horrors the seniors told us, and our seemingly slack timetable, it points out that we'll be doing loads of self studying. 也就是说要靠自己.

so well today turns out to be okay, we got nice teachers so far, yep so far. i reckon it takes much time to get used to the lectures and tutorials teaching format, and the very fact that there isnt a place that we really belong. like our dear 4A classroom. why didnt we treasure this cemented flooring, hot, smelly and packed with tables and chairs space?

shall cross my fingers and hope for the best, hoping to get accustomed to this jc life, hoping to have more self discipline, hoping that we shall cope with all this that we have chose to study.

and im pretty worried over the schedule in november i may be too stressed and tired so i swear i will pop vitamin c tablets and cross my fingers that it helps and i dont fall sick!
but i still want to reallyyy do something meaningful in this year end because by right it's the end of our secondary school life (though i dont feel that old) and that there's probably no time next year and no opportunity in year 6.

it's has been a reallyyy busy week! it's amazing how we survived. with truckloads of tests piled up high in my organiser and (not alot) of hours mugging, worrisome feelings and whats not, such a relief that's it's overrrr! :D

monday was the only "free" day and haha eh though still went to chem olympiad prize presentation with yijun at nus. it was a really classic joke luh come on there wasnt really detailed info on when the bus leaves and when to meet and where we going and who is going. messy messy tsk. then bused to nus campus lol CID CID HELLO KUKUS CAN YOU SEE THIS. haha what if i met mc on the way HAHA. anyway then the presentation woah~ dominated by schools like raffles and nus science and math. and saw many names of my ex schoolmates. smart people.

then the rest of the days zoomed by AND TILL NOW HAVENT LOOKED FOR MDM CHRISTINA YET OH MY UK TRIP REFUND. im so sorry.

so.

went for kite flying plus picnic today with (ex) netballers and hahaha it was reallyyy fun and damn joke. jay chou's sensation is high high high and was shocked today when i went into this cf shop and the jay chou's album is only 12.90! how come ah western music is so much more expensive leh 3 cds can cost $50 at the cd shop! that's like average $16 per cd can. and you have to buy 3 at one go. so not worth it when there's something called an internet and you can listen from youtube. though im not trying to encourage illegal downloading. (yet i do that)

anyway i want to go fly kite another time haha and buy a really prettyyy kite. from where i have no idea. and i want go swimming haha :D need to exercise already im so unfit zzz. by the way there's changes in the pe soccer team the groupings are a little different from the last groupings of the floorball team. yep haha.

and oh oh oh the book the hundredth man is so cool can and well thrilling! it's not exactly the best book i ever came across but still, not a bad one! ^^ and you know crunchy ovaltine is the best drink ever it has crunchy rice crispies in malty chocolately drink and the powder is soluble in cold water!

oh it's bliss.

after a million years

hello okay shall finally update though im super reluctant to, cause thing is im just lazy.

HAHA i know this is super long ago, but i still wanna post about it haha. THE S.E CONCERT! okay it was not bad okay it was awesome at the ending BECAUSE there's the theme song for the pirates of the carribean! woohoo~ besides the fact that people sitting in front of us are like flirting which is quite a pollution to our eyes and irritation cause they are PLAIN NOISY.
and hahaha wanxi looked damn good okay heehee. with the (quite a failure) heart balloon ♥.

haha and then racial harmony day was unexpectedly fun especially at the muah chee making station because. because it's funny lah. haha look at all those people's expressions when they see 3 hands dipping into a white floury dish and doing something that they would have prefered not to know! it was classic!

anyway! and the fifa world cup ended with spain winning but i support holland AND MY POINT IS: HOLLAND HAS EXTREMELY DELICIOUS CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES. i know lah HAHA no link at all but it's really gooooooooooooooooooooooddd! i think i can polish the whole pack off if im allowed to. FOOD'S MY WHOLE LIFE.

haha. eh school's pretty much the same though it's still as boring as ever. im looking forward to the national library coming round and i shall borrow books again haha i like reading books ^^

okay okay finally shall update lah huh.

so march holidays are over (duh!) but it sure doesnt feel like there was any existence of holidays.

anyway. so. monday was pretty much mundane, except for the (maybe) excitement in the change of timetable. woah seriously i think the break time is terribly short. i mean, you cant do much in half an hour, do you? it just zooooooooooooooooommmmm, and it's gone. and then changes in the seating arrangement, and it was uhm, pretty funny for shieu huei. haha shiehuei you will learn to talk less ;D LOL.

hmmm tuesday. eh there was the match against chij and it was pretty baddd, and yarlorh we all were off. oh dear.

oh wedneday. HAHAHA. cid is always fun LOL. so we get to miss lessons again (which isnt really very good eh). then uhm we were late for the zoo thingy (whose fault!) and then we were in such a rushhhh then we never even change! so we went to collect the samples in uhm, skirts and blouses. and then it's just like an open invitation to all mosquitoes to bite us. and we ended with chicken-poxed legs. plus the fact that it's very very very itchy! so we were scratching our legs throughout the rest of the week. only ah tian so glam never scratch hahahaha!
oh talking about ah tian horh, according to bejamin there is a statue of tiantian in the zoo whereby it resembles a wild pig. :D no offence horh tiantian! (:
then aft we finish everything it started raining haha. and then MC wanted to treat us ben and jerry's leh. i know he rich lah no need like that horh tempt us with iceeeeeeeee cream. then blah i went to kallang for cca and i still think that the taxi driver that we took from the zoo scammed money one. and then i went for cca only for half an hour -.-

thursay. not much stuff except for the disastrous math test which killed me so dont remind me of my murderer. then uhm yupp we also sort of sorted the samples LOL i think catching bugs are thrilling. and supposed to have some eh, ask-alot-of-qns-seesion with mr tan but he got last min meeting so cant make it but anyway. yarlorh. then went to indulge in ice cream to get over the after effects of math test.

friday. uhm usual day plus cca and eh ms puva wasnt in a particularly good mood but anyway nothing's gonna stop me from enjoying my last day of the week. the most awesome thing to look forward hahaha. you know, THINK POSITIVE. can do it de lah.

yupppppp aiyohh next week's gonna be another busyyyyyy week and this means trouble i cant have my physics make up lesson with mr tan which means my physics test on week 3 monday is definitely GONE CASE. and i really want to put in 100% effort plus chop so i wont get a F9 on my progress report lah. all my results have been terribleeeeeeee last term and it's actually much of a relief that there isnt a progress report YET. means will have one (BAD NEWS).

aiyahhhhhh i bet you wont read soooooooooo much it will be boring one de leh like that. so byebye and have a goooooooood weekend! (:

there is a very big difference in our schooling and the schooling in new zealand you know! (sound like lang arts)
i shall show you the comparison:

singapore: sian lah, so many lessons today. red eyes, swollen and just sluggish. lessons are mundane and silent, everyone falling asleep, teachers desperate to get a response. stress stress and more stress.

new zealand: very enthu, not sleepy at all, all are fun and stuff. lessons not that serious and everyone's like contributing. everyone's happy!

and i shall say that's because we are just too strict about everything. political answers are the best and practically: NO LIFER.
