the first thing that i felt after this youth entrepreneurship symposium, is HOW GREAT TO WEAR T SHITS AND SHORTS AND CANVAS SHOES. honestly the darn pencil skirt is so restricting i cant walk my super big strides and the bloody shoes is so painful with all those blisters that formed and burst over the days. ):

anyways. this 3 day symposium is really great i dont regret signing up for it at all! like, at first i was like uh, what the hell is this and then i see the programme list it's kinda boring, but it turns out to be okay!

i really love the speakers they're really good! entertaining, funny, engaging, emotional, motivational, inspiring. i really learnt alot from them, their optimistic outlook, the perseverance even though after failures and their attitude. it takes alot to really risk that capital for something that is pretty unknown.

okay so day 1, nothing much, ice breakers, speeches and industry visits! we went to le saint julien's pretty pretty restaurant and listened to his endeavors in being a chef/entrepreneur and afterwards we were treated to yummy sandwiches! yay haha they're super duper good yeah!

and then day 2 was kinda boring cause there were only speeches and the pitch challenge, in which we stayed up late the previous night to kinda come up with something. and then we practised the speeches and our group member wee ping was totally freaking out lol. surprisingly we got into round 2 haha which we didnt care about anything cause we didnt want to get into the finals haha. and oooh that round the atmosphere was like tense i think the first group was damn serious it kinda took the fun away ): but they are really like professionals and they know a great deal about every single thing. and our group was totally like informal LOL.

then after that went joel's house for pw like at around 7 plus, so huixian meilin szenee they all left D: left with joel and jinjing ohmy jj totally has a different side of her that kinda changed my perspective of her. shall not elaborate too much hee ;D

oh then went home and idk why but i stayed up late till 1 again. and sad thing is the reporting time for the next day was pushed forward arghh.

so last day yahoo the funnest and the shiokest haha cos it's kind of short :D

had mass game which is a bit sian and then speeches which i was falling asleep, but there was sakae buffet for dinner yay!

and then there was networking so went around knowing people they are all friendly ^^

woohoo FB09 ROCKS and we have our nice facil yang2 who bought us candy haha! which i finished like half in one speaker's speech LOL.

nay, we didnt catch this movie i dont think it's even out yet but hey arent we cool lol!

we went pooling instead heehee which we girsl suck at it but anyway it was fun :D

so overall i think it's really great and stuff and it really exposes you to the whole wide world. i mean after you talk to the people from other JCs you will find yourself so insignificant and small, especially how we, hello year 5s and 6s from river valley, are treated like secondary school students still. i feel as if there are invisible bars that bans you from your freedom when you are at school. it's just the freedom and treatment that is totally different from other schools. so what if we have a national top scorer? it just says that we are diligent students who mugs the shit off. we dont enjoy as much as other people do. we are no lifers. we are guai kias.

r said that there was a speaker who kinda scoffed and replied that river valley is not a JC. while there is some insult in it, i think it's kinda true. are we even treated like JC students in the first place?

today's a fun day ^^

econs in the morning, pw consultation in the aftnoon (sighhhhh i hope it turns out well it sounds so demanding), and then meilin joel and i decided to go for a movie and poor meilin has to travel from bukit gombak back to jp to join us so nice heehee. caught kungfu panda 2 and it's uhm, well, okay. it's funnier (maybe it's just that guy with the funny laughter) but it's a little dramatic LOL.

oh while waiting for the movie we went to search for my black shoes while joel sneaked into cotton on haha. meilin's damn good as a shopping partner we got my black shoes in less than half an hour! how awesome! and im still amazed that i can fit in size 40. meilin you're the best ♥

and joel's totally a glutton, he has a bottomless pit stomach. worse he's always tempting me with food ahhhhh.

i was so scared after reading up on eye infections. i dont know if my vision is worsening due to the infection and i dont know what's wrong with the persistant red eye that doesnt seem to go away. okay it does, but sometimes it gets a litlte pinkish arghh. i hope it just heals on its own like the web says and not some other scary infection that can lead to loss of vision O:

ohmy, it's like 1 week that whooshed past and i have not started in depth revision! i'm gonna get paranoid and stuff i think i need to lock up myself in an empty room with no computer, tv or bed! but i'll need music heehee ;) someday i shall do that.

yay i just pierced my second earhole and it doesnt really hurt! honestly haha oh but i realised that THEN I CANT GO SWIMMING ): which i want to cause im not exercising im getting so unhealthy aiyohhweh.

it gets a little annoying. okay not a little, but extremely. you talk to me about fairness. bullshit. totally bullshit. and you know it. i can raise a 1001 things that counters that.

for everything that sounds out-of-the-world thing that i propose, i've gotta give you the rationale. a strong one yo, but you give me a no-you-cant-have-everything-your-way answer. maybe i whine a little, beg a little, say it in a nicer way. i get threatened. fine. fine, i'll get by it.

now that it's the same situation, hello mind you, same, it's just that another person, not me. just the fact that it's freaking not me but my dear-little-girl sis that everything's okay, everything's wonderful, nothing's wrong. yeah yeah i dont think anything's wrong too you know it's perfectly fine with me.

but why didnt you give me the same answer. so you think she can handle it while i cant yah right thanks so much just because you 习惯 doesnt make a good reason like excuse me what was there to be 习惯 about if i accepted that i'm a downright moron.

science camp '11

okay today was kinda okay, went for 2 SP workshops worth 150 bucks (for free! ~) from being a facilitator in this science camp.
1st workshop's forensic DNA, honestly content for the participants is a little too in depth, BUT LIKE VERY RELEVANT TO WHAT WE ARE LEARNING RIGHT NOW - DNA.

this lady has a son in rv year 3! in choir somemore haha.

end result: DNA being placed in little wells inside this gel like thingy. i still dont really understand the mechanism behind it, but huimin understood and i think this thing's kinda cool! really.

2nd workshop: ice cream making! -screams- :D

oh. our product LOL made together with ms loh and huimin. it taste kinda okay, like chocolate pancake the one that we had for teabreak ;D but looking at it doesnt make you appetised right.

honestly the organisation of this camp, is quite fail leh :/

and we didnt bond the participants which i've no idea if we are responsible for or not. ): oh but the food provided is (Y) i like heehee. the workshop's kinda okay, though some people say certain workshops are sian. hmmm. maybe just needa walk around and kapoh a bit :D

how i miss milk/soymilk in a glass bottle. reminds me of those sold in 7-11s in hongkong, especially during winter.

today went for econs mock exam, terrible as usual cause didnt really study. i get the concepts but i really dont know how to put them into words.

and then had pepper lunch with some 5B ppl; pepper lunch still has student meal! then forget to pierce ear holes with meilin -.-

then i went to apply for a job! haha pretty cool i mean i just filled up a little piece of paper it isnt confirmed yet. but anyway the people there were pretty nice heehee. hope i can manage my time wisely if i really get the job. im risking a little here yeahh, HOPE IT WILL NOT AFFECT MY GRADES.

i need self discipline and motivation yeah. academics is really important i hope this holiday/study break doesnt go past me like whoosh~

i shall aspire to be a nerdy pig. study hard, slack much.
