earth hour!

awesome thing: bubbleteas ☺ yesterday we had entre cip at zhenghua cc. we had a hard time finding the place and honestly, the lrt is confusing! anyway this cip is so un-cip-like we just went there and eat and play and see and listen and set up the game booths. i didnt really manage the game booth which is kind of sad D: and there was a lot of time wasted. and too many people for this cip. anyway the highlight of this whole event is... DONUTSSSSS!!! i had 3 and a half donuts yahooooooo :D so prettyyy right! and we watched a short film i think it's quite cool and funny but i wonder why most people think it's boring ): and honestly it's not interactive with the residents it's only interactive with students! that's kind of sad.

Ah Fat's babies

i can't believe it ohmygosh MY HAMSTER GAVE BIRTH HOLY CRAP.

on thursday my sister was feeding the hamsters and she was saying that one of them didnt come out at all and is making funny noises inside a tin. so i shined a light inside and i saw red little things the size of a big bean! apparently it looked something like that below:



it's freaking ugly with their thin and translucent skins, bulging eyes with no slits and skinny limbs that help them squirm around.

we were super shocked because
1) we thought it was a male. when we bought them the shopkeeper said that 90% of the hamsters in the box we chose were males.
2) the hamster was still the same size. only difference is that there are a few funny looking things beside it. seriously it can climb to the second floor, do a suicide jump and never miscarriage. wonderful.

they are really bundles of joy i can hear their tiny squeaks and watch them squirm about and im so excited to see them grow!! i cant wait till weeks later :D they grew much after a day (:
i can look at them for hours ^^

anyway the net says that it's normal for the mother to eat one of the babies, especially the first litter but i dont think any of the babies died yet. it's really gross if they eat the babies eewwww.



and we cant touch the babies now till 2 weeks later when they have fur and eyes and blah then they will look like hamsters ahahaha. i think over the next few days they will grow fur from their pinkish skin like the one above!

anyway the pictures were taken from the net cause i couldnt take a photo of the babies my hamster had D: they are hidden in a tin and the camera just couldnt shoot any close up pics ): and i feel kinda guilty cause the cage is in a mess and i really want to clean it up but not after 2 weeks later which i believe by then, the cage is in a disastrous state. if i had known it was pregnant we would have placed it in a larger cage poor Ah Fat (the hamster) have not much space to run about.

i think Ah Fat has around 5 or more babies and i hope none dies (cause i dont want to look at a dead body) AND I WANT THEM TO GROW FAST out of their ugly pink stage :D

anyway OMG WHY IS THERE A SYF PREVIEW?! and we guitar suay lah, have to perform in front of year 5s and year 6s. awesome. i've a bad feeling about this, man. i think we'll screw up though hope not! :X

and lol entre's cip is a bit de uhm, weird. i feel as if we are organising some kind of carnival instead of really helping others. and holy, because of this, this week's gonna be busy.

since when is school not busy?

seriously, life is short. we should enjoy it to the fullest.
i like doing things that i enjoy and i should really pursue things i like. how many ten years are there in our lives?

anyway! this holiday's pretty fun, minus stress and hmwk, i enjoyed it! i think partly it's because it's a fine balance between going out and slacking away at home.

so the last weekend i spent all my time in front of tv or the computer, seeking entertainment.
monday was a day long guitar practice, and we had macs for lunch.

tuesday went for the movie making studio at science centre, left after lunch break (macs) for school for econs lecture. i left when it's the most exciting part, when they start filming. i have to lose my position as sound(wo)man and not experience recording the sound in the studio. what a pity! D: D: D:
and when i wanted to leave i realised i lost my ezlink! D: peiyin and tian was so nice to help me find and tian was really smart she went info counter and found it! thank you so much!!

i reached school early and lol r told me she was at jp with wx, and that sh and ppl were at the library; can look for them to kill time. and i happily thought it was jurong west library tsktsk so i spent time in the canteen. then weiliang and joel came and i didnt know joel was from 2G until then and that he had his worst part of his life while someone has the best part of her life in year 2. he's so mean but LOL. seriously LOL.
econs! omg i could have kissed the ground and whatever when we knew that there were like, 100% passes in 5B! and aiyohh why must the econs department make it into such an official thing like announcing a levels results zzz. anyway it was such a miracle! i reckoned it was my lucky day that day.

wednesday. went science centre again and i was to come up with the bloopers with tian but she left me at eleven plus ): stared at the computer for the entire day and was x.x lunch was at macs (AGAIN! -pukes-) and then we went exploring science centre cause the door to the studio and editing room was locked.
since we had like, free admission, of course must roam around a bit. science centre is still every bit of fun and it was super paiseh when ms phuar caught us trying to take a photo of us in the little house in the tv screen. laughed like siao before running away to another part of the centre. and oh so cockroaches aren't repelled by pandan leaves! r saw a cockroach trying to lay a egg it was disguisting but fascinating although we dont know if it laid the egg in the end. i certainly dont want to know if the centre succeeded in breeding another nest of cockroaches or not.
so later back to editing room aiyahh. produced the final bloopers in the end and i swear it was the most difficult job. maybe because i can laugh at everything so everytime i edit the video to see if it flows i end up laughing like mad. even when i watched it like upteen times, and someone else watches it and start laughing, i laugh again -.- at the end when everyone was watching, i laughed again. waseh. i had dont know how many stomachaches that day.
anyway, must thank the two juniors (i dont know their names OOPS) who gave me suggestions. and peiyin and regina who were disturbed by me like dont know how many times and provided sound clips. (w/o them the bloopers arent as funny!) yupyup then i felt a strong sense of satisfaction cause i didnt really believe that we could have finished in a day.
(and lol it would be on the plasma tv outside the studio/editing room heeheehee)

friday was an outing with ex netballers at botanical garden. the sun was strong but aiyohh! I DONT GET TAN what's this! so we had a picnic and then went to island creamery at king albert's park. and a single scoop of ice cream WAS FREAKING HUGE it was like one and a half scoop super worth it. but i didnt eat it -.- cause i had iced latter from macs before that and i totally regretted it. it tasted diluted and it's so expensive.
i'll be back one day for a triple scoop ice cream. plus a mud pie. (that will be when i get my first salary if i land a job)

yepyep have a good weekend before a horripilatious pile of stress falls on us. again.

this was the shiokest weekend ever in the whole year! it feels wonderful to not think about homework.

anyway, so i caught a few movies on the net ;D

this one's black swan, starring natalie portman. (though it's m18 i just realised after watching it -.- but dont worry there isn't porn inside) okay besides that i think it has a brilliant story line cause it's really intriguing to see how the protanganist change from an innocent young girl into a horrifying women who self-doubts, which follows the story of the dance she was dancing for swan lake. it's pretty scary at the later part cause she battles with herself and it kinds of have some ghostly images on screen. and it's a sad ending.
i kind of foresee people will somehow use this movie for educational purposes. i dont know why.



and the best movie i watched was hello, stranger which is a thai movie! i remember r mentioned it last year so i went to watch it and IT'S SUPER AWESOME HAHAHA YOU ALL SHOULD CATCH IT LOL i can't believe i'm actually going mad over this movie. the couple is super cute and funny although honestly i dont like the crying parts and oh-you-mean-so-much-to-me parts cause i'll just diao there. i prefer funny and laugh till you drop parts like when the guy ate the raw squid.

anyway my "holiday" has ended and i'm so looking forward to my dearest study break with actually not many days to study -.-

am i a singaporean?

awesome thing: sleeping like a log the WHOLE day ☺

now i realised how much i actually know about Singapore. and my knowledge is super limited.

so anyway my 舅父，舅母，表哥，表嫂 came to Singapore, and they were asking me where are the places of interest. besides answering ussr, casino and sentosa, i've no idea where else to go! i was totally stunned.

so i was thinking i've lived in Singapore for 16 plus years, but i really never been to most of Singapore.

i've never been to ussr (for the rides etc.), never been to Singapore flyer, never been to lau ba sat (not in my memory, but maybe i did go before? D:), never been to alot of places! dont know about taxi extra fares nor the cost to take the mrt for a stop for an adult! neither do i know about the current population in Singapore. i think it was like 4 million a few years ago. and i didnt know where to get singapore souvenirs. or what souvenirs there are.

i sound like a Singapore noob.

anyway! i love the seniors, man! because of them we earned a free friday! ♥ i couldn't tell you how great the friday was, it was a total slacking day. it was sleeeeeeeeeeppp the whole day cause the weather is so awesome!

then thursday was a pretty short day. it was the only holy day that i dont need to stay back till late for any funny reasons! the morning we planned to have mac breakfast but it was quite a fail breakfast cause the queue was so long and it kinda dragged past the time we had planned. :X and after school i had a mr bean ice cream at tiong and xuanyi bought a pancake plus drink! ^^ except that day i missed the uni talk which i think the course is super expensive. money money money, how, no money no talk $.$

then i went to the hotel to find my relatives. i was waiting at the lobby and i saw like these candles and they were so pretty! and i wonder how come the flame is so steady o.o

wednesday was the b'div netball zonal finals! and i was so glad that we went cause it was such an EXCITING MATCH ♥.

but before that we heard news that MR CHUA is leaving. and that's the saddest thing that can ever happen to rv cause he's such a funny and nice guy. and in these two years so much has happened, with so many good teachers leaving and our vice principals leaving. it's like it isn't rv anymore. there doesnt seem to have anymore nice people in our school anymore. and school is becoming more like a misery to us. whyy??

anyway! so we caught the match and the atmosphere was super high we were like screaming our lungs out and cheering like banshees and we didnt care a thing for our reputation! our hearts were like pounding like siao and we were like jumping around at the end cause our juniors won by 1 goal! :D :D :D it was a draw at the end of the game but they had to extend it to see which school will emerge as the champion at the end.

it was quite funny with kristal keep on saying that our school SCs were cui enough not to lead any cheer and livia keep on saying that we need a cheer! and the supporters that came, ... doesnt seem to display much enthusiasm. sadness.

on the other hand nanhua supporters were an energetic lot they were like HU HA-ing every goal they score and it became pretty much an annoyance LOL. but at least they were high about it. (and we were like HA HA-ing at the end hahaha though of course we didnt do it loud)

and mr chua mrs yeow mr tan etc. teachers were there and they were wonderful supporters haha! ^^ mr chua and mrs yeow were especially enthu about it yay :D and we did have a photo with mr chua at the end (: we'll miss you mr chua! ♥

tuesday had guitar practice at the syf venue, and we were so nervous at first haha! hope we dont screw up on the day itself! and reached home at 11pm i can tell you i could have just died on the bed.

monday was a boring long day. so the whole of the week i was super tired i think i need to sleep at 10.30pm everyday already! and i hate lectures i dont know why i will fall asleep in at least one lecture. or zone out.

i better catch up in this week of study break.

people say always look at the bright side.

but it seems the bright side is getting dimmer, dimmer and much dimmer. like a gloomy sunset.

i feel so miserable. there isn't a thing in school for me to look forward to. not a single thing. no excitement in learning new topics. no satisfaction in finishing practicals on time. no pride in any piece of homework. SCHOOL = STRESS. perhaps a smile was all that keep me going. perhaps i'm just feeling down today. perhaps the first term is just suay and lady luck will side me for the rest of the year. perhaps i'm just pessimistic.

suayness today. oh man.

i'm 0.1s away from silver, away from all the stupid training in pe, all because of one funny mock napfa and a stupid frictionless pair of shoes.

a funny interview that made us miss econs test. but the interview isn't that bad, i hope rv will continue to improve, no matter what. (: i'm proud of rv. the people in rv.

and the most disguisting event of today.

15 minutes lost from a 50 minutes econs test, i must say im proud to have done so much questions in 35 minutes. and of course i'm looking at the bright side.

i swear i could have thrown my pen into people's faces or stabbed myself (okay fine smthing else) in anger. and the lump of thing in my throat that prevents any swear words from coming out.

so it's our fault that the tutorial class has no clock.

so it's our fault that our teacher released us late.

so it's our fault that we abide the rules and not use the handphone to check the time in class.

so it's our fault that we are poor to get a watch.

so it's our fault that we are dumb to not ask people with watches the time.

so it's our fault for spending a few minutes rushing the hell to LT2 and finding no single soul before rushing to LT 3.

so it's our fault that we have no time awareness.

awesome. i'm sorry. this is a super valuable lesson. and the first thing i'm getting is a HOLY WATCH.

but you know what. we are going to work doubly hard for the next econs test. and be super early for the test.

at least, i know that the failure doesnt mean i'm stupid. it doesnt mean that i didn't study hard for it. (which i studied like a hardcore mugger -.-) it doesnt mean i was slow in my thinking. the failure just reflects on the failure in time awareness.

i'm sorry to those people who i've given the bushuang face (like eva and weiliang lol). i'm sorry for rushing out of the LT as soon as the dismissal word was said. (although hell, i'm not sorry for being the last person to enter the LT and the first person to leave; i'm that pissed)

and i'm really grateful to zoenin, (j)wsmrt for all the encouragement they gave. and r who've kept so calm and silent when i needed the peace. and everyone's who was so understanding. i'm sorry i lost my temper.

on a brighter note, i'm really happy to have seen the a levels results. i feel so proud of them; it makes me feel there's hope for us.

and pepper lunch and ice cream with r really made my day. food makes my mood lighten naturally.

and from now on, i shall become a hardcore mugger. i'm already becoming a guaikia, abiding the school rules and everything. soon, i'll realise the dream of being a nerd.
